Who are We?

DEAR3AMFEELS, is a blog started by a Sophomore attending the University of Arkansas. She began this journey by discovering herself at three in the morning and the journey has only continued since then. As her journey continued,  she felt that stories no matter whose they were, were meant to be heard. Since then the dinky blog has grown into a blog used for discovering young talented writers. Each writer is on their own journey, with their own experiences, finding themselves in their own ways. Stories are meant to be told, and Dear3amfeels creates a place where young adults use their own voice to impact the world around them. We hope you enjoy our journey, and hopefully if you too are interested, you can contact us below and share your own story!

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for not holding back your wonderful, motivating, and encouraging words. Your story is so similar to mine especially regarding lost friendships. I read with such excitement and connected on many levels as I related to your story. It just seemed like today was a day I needed to be reminded that I am not the only one that may go through certain things and that the beauty of everything that has happened in one’s life is never a mistake, but an endurance that needed to occur in bringing out a better self. I am also a freshman in college . This one page story not only inspired me to keep pushing and let things be, but to know keep in mind that it is my part of the journey, testimony, and growth that I needed for the better. I wish well in the next 3 years of this journey.May God richly bless you, and may your journey continue to help you grown and learn and discover more about yourself, because your is truly a gift. Rock on!

    • Thank you so much for this comment! I am so glad that you were able to connect on so many different levels! I think that has definitely been the best part of putting out my letter! I had no idea the connection it would attract to so many young people like myself! I like how you say “that the beauty of everything that has happened in one’s life is never a mistake” because it truly isn’t and God’s plan is always way bigger than our imagination! I hope you also keep growing and discovering who you are also! Hope you have a great day!!

Absolutely breath taking. I have read this letter 3 times since you posted it. It popped up on my facebook page a few days ago from a friend, she said it was definitely worth reading, and man was she right. Your encouraging words have persuaded me to let go of the past and look forward to what God has planned for me. I have to agree with Benedicta Bonsu, in that your story of lost friendships is so close to what happened to me the first eight months of my freshman year. This letter has and is going to touch the lives of so many girls. God truly gave you a beautiful talent. May God bless you, and good luck on your adventure.

P.S.- I go to U of A too! WOO PIGS SOOIE!
